Powerful communications with Feed The Fire Films and "the arm of big business." I found for myself that when "we" as Independent Film makers want to help our Friends and the world wake up, that many times we run into the profound arrogance of the established icons who truly make their money off of the backs of the true talent. In fact "these business men" would be nothing without the infused, conscious, aware, and deliberate ability to Love and create that is created by the "original" developer of the "concept."

Most of my readers and Friends know the profound effect that FTF Films has had on my work and the kind encouragement that Derek has shown to me that has assisted me in creating first my Videos, and then my Music, so I don't hear the "ya-da-ya-da-ya-da" from You Tube. But what really is entailed with being a true "Independent?" Created law out of thin air dictated by the un-creative business, money only, attitudes, or actual interaction that develops Film at a higher level between Artist who a) know how to create and develop a Concept that is both Striking and Breathtaking as well as informative.....

The watered down crap that we all face now, needs more pop and sizzle to get the mind working. A balance of Music, Visuals, and a keen Production QUALITY is always appreciated. So, is You Tube in error by throwing around a "law?" Are they wrong in eliminating Derek's You Tube Channel behind a "big Business ego?" You be the judge, read Derek's interesting email communications. You be the judge and tell me why over three hundred EXCELLENT Films are now dead behind one overblown ego. Truth is not owned by any of us, it shines like the Sun and is for all of us. But these are difficult times, and as Kieth Olbermann once said, we all could be turned off just like that......

With New Artist, this label is exciting. Featured at X~Ray Your Soul~1 Devotions kicks off it's week with exciting Artist like Ryo Utasato, Frank Weyzig, Jaki Song, Beatmistress Cait, Noise Flower, P Eric Bailey, and a profound Soundtrack Artist Andrew Skelton.

An inspiration off of the very Professional Label at Reverbnation "Turmoil Music," Shade Law has set out to quantify Soundtrack feel work. Soundtrack seems to get lost in the mix of things at most Sites. Some don't even have a distinction for Soundtrack work. It's a level of music that does get lost in the mix so to say. Never lost in Film, but lost on the net so to say. Devotions Recording and Striking Concept Videos wants to change that.

Devotions Recording is fully owned and operated by Shade Law of Striking Concept of which Shade is the Co-Founder. Striking Concept produces Videos for our Artist on the Striking Concept side. This enhances the Artist Music as it is re-digitalized for Video. Video assist our Friends and Artist immensely, as Video is quite Viral. It is one of the things I choose to do with Devotions recording's talent, is to combine it with the power of our film production company Striking Concept Videos to produce a spot on presentation for Readers, New potential Fans, and Industry professionals.

After looking at Turmoil Music and seeing the Professionalism their. I decided to bring in my Label in conjunction with Striking Concept, (our Video Producing Company) to Reverbnation as well.

I intend on asking the very BEST Artist here at Reverbnation that we have either A) did a Video for or B) their just too darn good to pass up... And that is not always easy to do or accomplish which is why I also (with the help of Jodie and Gentle Rains Admins of X~Ray Your Soul~1) bring the whole shebang into one of the top Wiki Sites at Wetpaint: "X~Ray Your Soul~1."

Wetpaint has a clear format that host well our objective of internet exposure. Designed primarily for graphics, image, and workability Wetpaint for years has served X~Ray Your Soul~1's needs very well. So why not, we will give this format a great spin for Music as well. Well, that is surely my intention.

Image via Wikipedia WikiLeaks, the notorious whistleblower website has been kicked off Amazon.com’s U.S. servers. This comes on the heels of the organization moving its operations only a day ago.

WikiLeaks has been the center of controversy this week due to having released more than 250,000 U.S. diplomatic cables onto the internet and into the hands of select news organizations. Many of the cables are sensitive in nature and describe U.S. relations and efforts with countries such as Russia, South Korea and Pakistan.

As can be imagined, the U.S. government is not too happy about the release of these confidential documents and has been putting a lot of pressure against the website. This news comes after U.S. Senator Joe Lieberman, the chairman of the House Security Committee, questioned Amazon.com.

“I wish that Amazon had taken this action earlier based on Wikileaks’ previous publication of classified material. The company’s decision to cut off Wikileaks now is the right decision and should set the standard for other companies Wikileaks is using to distribute its illegally seized material,” notes Sentator Joe Lieberman.

Since the release of these cables, WikiLeaks has been under the target of of multiple distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, leaving the site crippled.

The site has been under a denial of service attack (DDoS) for the past week and was moved from its servers to Swedish servers to Amazon Web Services yesterday. They promptly received more DDoS attacks, and have been booted off Amazon and are not back on its Swedish servers.
It seems likely that Amazon dropped WikiLeaks because of pressure from the U.S. government, though no official reason has been given.

This is so typical of the US Government, they can not keep their own Senate and House ethical nor can they keep their relations together for a "united" people of all races and culture within it's own boarders ... so they continue to "obstruct" world information as they do our Governing. Our Government kills world relations through lying to all of us. You decide... think for yourself this isn't a partisan issue this is our Government which continues to lie and obstruct as well as rob us financially.My Song "Requiem" (coming out in January on my Album

Someone forgot to turn off the light

When we work and work and work, and forget to take a breath~we forget who and what we are. My God, someone forgot to turn out the light. And then~and then~and then... the floods come, overwhelming to the mind, overwhelming to the soul, overwhelming to the senses. I need a break so I stayed up to update the Blog, and now will be gone from the net for a month or so. No seriously, I gotta do this now, for me. My mind is screaming I have failed this year and the light is too dang bright. So while receiving the Blessing of Music from my Friends at Reverbnation, I hit the woman who saved me before I knew any of you. Thank you SariSat. Art is a mosaic, fragile and sweet but deadly if overwhelmed. Love can be toxic if not delivered gently and in the right portions. The mind is a terrible thing to waste but even more terrible to loose. Holidays are so tiring, but necessary to make us all rest a bit. To make us all on-line, remember there is more to remember, and more to be with ~ within our self. More to be with ~ within the world we tend to escape while here on-line. There are other Friends with flesh, Uuuuuuuu.... now what? There are other experiences, what might they be? Other senses that replenish what is needed from the daunting year. Well Ladies and Gents the tough part is done, I'm getting stronger everyday and their is no coughing up blood. Amazing what a bit of good medicine will do. Nothing dangerous like cancer, THANK GOD! SHADE'S NOTES: Well I like my Album because it starts out with my own heart felt passion, Political may-lays, when will we learn to think for ourselves? Sometimes we just lack the civility to have a decent discourse, or an original thought lol!. It happens daily, we get caught up in either fear or deception. Featured in one of my Newest Songs is “Rachel Maddow's” spoken word (concerns) about that awful situation with burning the Koran. Her dedicated News Work, inspired me to write the song “A Nation Divided” with Ms. Maddow speaking the news. The story hit me as to why would anyone want to burn another faith as if that Faith had no purpose, direction or meaning to that person. It is so personal Faith, and that relationship starts with the person's own relationship with whom they call God, and is no ones business... I feel.

This Album has caused to me to ask “Why” about many things. I even reviewed my own life for a moment. Where do we all come from, and how do we move forward right in our own lives, let alone another life, that is quite a question. How can we as individuals or even as a Nation move forward? For me my Music has revolved around “Sound Tracks,” Epic Sound Tracks. Yes I agree with those closest to me, I'm Dramatic lol! But at the same time there is this heart within me that burst open with such JOY and Happiness.

My Album explores Sound and is an adventure in Sound. It is an adventure in Sounds and the emotions they evoke. Because I have a background in working at Warner Brothers, it's kind of a BIG Sound that inspires me to push on, even in my life. It's all about feeling, and siting inside the feeling, long enough to arrive at a higher feeling. A higher feeling many times can and will produce a higher thought process. And that will produce “critical thinking,” which many times we all lack when dealing with a lower energy of feeling. So it's a new dawn for me, and it's a new concept for me that I am really happy to present. The Album has 5 new Tracks never heard. “Why” is one of them and it's release is in Video form.

There are folks I wish to thank now, for helping me with this journey that appears within this first Album. I would like to thank Lady Carol of My Space, who has so much faith in me, that even before hearing any of the Tracks rousted her Radio Friend in the UK, and asked him to do an interview with me and play my Music on his Station. Well I'm getting brave in my old age lol! I'm working on an Album, and it has NEW Songs that haven't been heard whoooo~hoooo! I have been wondering what to do because I'm not a "performing Artist" like my Friends that I like to promote and share a lot. Most of you know that I specifically write Music for Videos and that most of my material is for our Client's Videos or Knight Productions (our Political Video Arm). Seeing as I'm still working on said project I thought I would at least show off the NEW Album Cover (By: Jodie P. Floss my bestest Friend and Business Partner).

I have been in a daze of late, with working on The Dan Unger Foundation, and wondering is it even time to try something like this? But after I wrote "Beloved" I thought; "oh heck why not at least try, it can't hurt." Music is just one of those things that I do so Love To Do. It's the heartbeat of any Video we make as a team or that I wonder off and do by myself. I mean face it, you can build all day long with WebSites and only do so much of SEO and then you slam into a wall and say to heck with all of that, I need to reconnect with what is within ME~not worry about someone else for a change. I too, need inspiration and though I deeply care about my Friends on-line and around me here as well.... I just need to escape where I am really happy. Okkkkkk I would be happier with Native Instruments, but I'm happy with what I have FOR NOW lol.

So here I am bending sound, and reshaping patterns of notes to come up with this Album for my NEW Store (which has a button right here on the Blog below my Music), and I got to thinking for the Fans and Friends to add some of the Music that cannot be downloaded as well as the NEW Tracks. It's all very new to me, not necessarily writing Music but the on-line Technology involved. I have to say one thing, Reverb Nation has certainly made it very easy and for that I am grateful. So I just wanted to let you all know where I am at and as always.....

The Quiet Time

Scribd is where I go when it's quiet time. Sometimes You Tube, or Reverb Nation. But mostly I turn within and write. Writing is actually my first Love, and many times I forget that. The simulations of the Net can be a bit too much sometimes for me. I do have a life outside the Internet, that sometimes I forget about lol! Not really wise to do that. I work hard in whatever I do, and after putting in

1,480hours for our Corporate account, I find myself finally returning to writing about what is going on in my little community here.

Sometimes we hide our heads in the sands, yet music will always rise from the heart, words unspoken will always reveal themselves, and thoughts that swirl no pause and reveal even more in The Quite Time.

I think I work a lot of hours to escape the "Oh God now what does she want?" It's hard being a caretaker of a friend. Hard wondering if your steady anymore, in feeling, mind or heart, when someone is ill, and tag your it. You are their only world, yet you have a Business to run, and your trying to stay steady in thoughts, word, deed and actions. Consistency is a big thing with me. And quality of life is a bigger thing with me as well. Music, Writing, The Arts have always saved my butt. It is here in this Quiet that I can let go of stuff that bothers me. Sometimes I share, sometimes not. Little ripples of notes are not always shared, their mine to keep me alive. Short phrases, left for me to understand, for they are my link to my heart and.... Ethics.

I think The Quiet Time is very important, it is the stabling factor that replenishes us for the next big event or the small steps that are needed to get from point A to B. Just thought I would pop in and say HI!

No Space, No Choice, No Jobs... the inappropriate use of Logos

In this day and age of Brands, Branding, Logos, and countless Internet and Big Corporations actually taking our Votes away through purchasing Congress. The Bold attitudes of Big Business is killing honest small Business whose Brands and Logos are honest. Small Business actually cares, being a small Business I care. My Partner and I are always looking to better the world by improving a message through the arts and music that is not "formula music" and art that is not stagnant or lifestyle based. I was over at You Tube and found one of FTFs Films, I'm taking a long needed break but wanted to address this because it's important for folks to know that their are real folks out there who are in Business who actually care. But to find them, you need to be aware of the Psychology of those who do NOT care about the public as a whole. They only care about their bottom-line. It's always a great honor to get an education through Music and Film for me so I hope you too, get something out of this production by Feed The Fire's "Hardcore Truth" Film.

Dan Unger, after facing a life threatening illness, and receiving very little support from the Screen... Actors Fund, despite being a long term patron, envisioned a foundation which would provide the assistance and solidarity lacking within the entertainment industry.

“So when I was close to death in the hospital, I prayed to God and asked for help to get well so I could start up a foundation to help and treat all my colleagues in the entertainment industry equally. This is how the Dan Unger Foundation originated. All actors etc can get the help they need when they need it without all the red tape.”

How Dan Unger wishes his foundation to provide financial assistance:

“My foundation will send you a cheque for up to $5000 in your name. Not made out to your land lord, your electric bill or your phone company, but to you. The money will go to you so you can take care of your own bills and your family. So I have been working hard to get this foundation up and running, it is now time for CHANGE. Technology is cool, it's great on the Net, the many tools one can use to stay connected to THOSE you WANT to stay connected to is Awesome. We like our tool Feedjit, how ever... shame on you Google - Gadjets you must have made something that circumvents Blogger's Blocking capabilities.

Conneaut, Ohio arrived from r1rk9np7bpcsfoeekl0khkd2juj27q3o.a.friendconnect.gmodules.com on "Striking ConceptVideos". When a Blogger wants to block a follower, they should have that right to do so. A Blogger, like anyone else in life should feel safe, for whatever reason they choose to make a disconnect... it should be honored and not circumvented. So my Technology question for the day is, does a Ban mean anything to anything to the Tech Companies out there?

I'm the last one to complain about Techs, their bright, very capable folks, and have brought us a long way from the dark ages of old. However, there is a reason all Domains set up a feature to Block a person. It matters not the reason the disconnect is desired, it simply means the disconnect should be honored. Point being persistence in following the person, is considered by Law... stalking. Now rather or not Google made an error or not in their design isn't the issue.... Techs will figure that out just fine, but we all need to know there are steps we can take if we are feeling that we are being stalked.

Start by notifying Google, then move to Blogger itself, if the Technology that you have or are using is causing the breach REMOVE IT! Be patient when waiting for an answer. Techs are often quite busy BUT all of them take any issue of stalking very seriously. AND SO DO WE!

I Gotta A Life Or Do I?

Our world…full of war, hate, discrimination, health issues. Where are we heading, what will this world be like in 10 years, when will we wake up and smell the coffee?

Justifications are all we hear. “We need this war”, say what? Who needs war? Have we lost the plot? So, we need to kill each other? I guess so, that’s what we’re told, so it must be true. Ah but you see, war runs deeper then the obvious justifications. Many high flaunting socialites, including those in the political realm, stand to gain significantly from the suffering of others during war.

Oil…let’s get control the oil, then we control the world’s primary fuel source and on top of that we can dictate what it costs. Too bad if people can’t live or, in the case, of war don’t live. Oh let’s go back to horses and carts, oh, no, wait…they’ll still find some method of control. Control is power, power is a valuable commodity. You see power gets you where you need to go, gets you what you want. Even power is an illusion, it only exists if others permit it to. Acknowledge that someone has power over you and they will have.

It’s a bit harder when the power exists in organizations which are purportedly in place to lead or direct given societies or communities. Although, basically, we’ve given that power, the power to have power so to speak.

Discrimination, racism, hate are excellent tools of manipulation. They cause segregation; they reduce the power of the people through dividing and conquering. Wow what a great divisional tactic, pit one part of society against another and hey, they won’t notice the important stuff. It’s really not difficult to achieve, we see it happen everyday on a smaller scale, just surf the net and see for yourself. Oh and take notice of the justifications, laughable at best.

Sort of diminishes the whole concept of “don’t judge a book by it’s cover”, in fact, we’re encourage to do the complete opposite. Personally, I don’t care if you’re black or white or pink with purple spots. Let’s gain a bit of common sense here, we are the same biologically, we all have blood, bones, brains. We are all human beings despite our origins, despite our appearances. Got to love the internet for meeting people, I do. You see these issues don’t tend to affect the relationships developed because you get to know the person for the person, not for what they look like, not for their race or origins. A shame society as a collective doesn’t take a hint from the internet.

Oh and now let’s look at the world’s health issues. Health is very much put up for ransom. Hey, if you have the most money, you get the best health care. The world health organization, gotta feel some sympathy for them, they mean well, but honestly there is very little equality of access to health care. I’m not talking about your average visit to your local general practitioner, but accessing services to either assist in preventing illness or those that could prevent further hospital admissions, not to mention access to appropriate mdeciation. Oh and hell, some countries you’d be lucky to come out of hospital alive, such is the substandard of clinical care offered. Make sure you say your prayers prior to admission, hope God is listening, hope you get answered prayer and actually survive the hospital ordeal.

Even health care has become a commodity of financial gain, another way of controlling. So much for God determining who lives and dies, now that’s the job of those who hold the power. You know, there have been rumors around for years that there is actually a cure for cancer. Just think of the implications if, this is in fact, true. Pharmaceutical companies would lose billions of dollars, specialists would be unemployed. Well, there was a case a little while ago where a doctor had devised his own specific treatment for cancer, it involved utilizing special machinery. He had exceptional success, many were cured.

Those that sung his praises wanted to announce to the general public about the miraculous cure. Sure they did, it hit the current affairs programs, also hit the government who launched a so called investigation. Oh you can guess what happened next…yeah the doctor was branded a fraud, it was published that his treatment was fraudulent. Did not matter that many of his patients had been terminal and had been refused any further treatment by other doctors. Guess what, he saved them and despite their testimonials and medical evidence, our poor doctor was driven out of the medical profession and barred from discussing his treatment process. No for once not in the USA!

So where will we be 10 years from now? Still killing each other, very sick and full of hate. Perhaps we all need to pray that the spiritualist community is correct, that 2012 will be the year the new earth appears, the year of change, the year of ascension. God knows we need saving from ourselves.

A Line In The Sand

No this isn't the surprise that everyone is waiting for. This is about Friendship, this is about how Business can destroy all levels of feeling and heart and emotion and reality that is supposed to be Universal.... I believe in God, and I believed in a Friend that now must make a choice between years or weeks. Where is the heart of Business that it has become so sterile, so surreal. Maybe I'm just to old, maybe I am blind, or maybe on-line Businesses are just too dead and lifeless to bother with. I have to say that I miss the contact of real people, real Friends who deeply know me.

It's not to say I haven't met really good people on-line but the threads of reality are short at best in this fiber age. Who are you on-line? Does ego and money mean that much that we no longer see the beauty of just one flower or hear the song of just one bird? Or are we no better on-line then those who would soon crush the very life out of us through religion and politics.

A good Friend of mine sent me a Video to remind me, this "Business stuff" isn't that important at the loss of your heart. Well he didn't really say that, but I got the message 6 hours later when another Friend drew a line in the sand. There is no choice but to let go, before my heart does harden and I'm worse for something that never happened.

You need to watch this Video, before it's too late, and the machine kills you and the ego devours you, and you become lost and so weak, because your no longer in control.

Business can be a truth, but only if the heart is involved deeply. Striking Concept will do no more Business with ANY on-line Company again. We will only now place our services in the Arts, Entertainment, Music, and one day I would like to create a Documentary with my own Music. To understand the Artist here and me especially, you need to understand a bit how we work. The process is different for each of us, but the depth in which we go is the same. Passion will always be Passion. Here the Video that I did relates to Music, later the other Writers (or myself) will discuss other areas of the Entertainment Industry. For now, I will be speaking on only what I know with my creations of Music.

The Video here is a High Tech Video, but the primary focus will be Music. As we know Video is Viral thanks to Google and You Tube, but seriously it is the Music that propels the Video and shapes it. The texture of any Video's core is Music. Why? Well hopefully if it is scored right, it will pull the Audience in no matter the actual topic.

Music is a healing Art form, that heals the Artist FIRST, anyone else who receives a healing from the tones of life and soul.... well that's a side Blessing. Many question how this works, I don't know, but vibrations and tonality do assist the body, mind, and soul. It's quite fun for the Artist to then sit back and watch their creation simply.... be alive.

CHANGE OF WRITERS LINE UP: Due to lots of work headed our way and lots of work headed his way Mr. Roger no longer writes for this Blog. We wish him the very Best. Striking Concept has had a really early meeting, dang and I was up all night too. Bummer. Designing and Working with Messages In Video

Touchy Subjects UuuuuUUuuuu. Ok, lets hit the topic running, Religion - baddd word, Politics - Oh My - quite Frighting, and Sex! Oh God NOT again with who is sleeping with whom... AGAIN! P L E A S E

Video is quite powerful, it's a dynamic that allows a whole different ball of wax to appear, why? Because you can seeeeee it Love! Seeing stuff pulls in different kind of emotions, thoughts, and most of all reactions. So it get's a little tricky because Video has been a long time favorite of Neuro Linguistic Programming. How does one reverse the long time effects of NLP, that were done to either subjugate, rule over, or at worst ruin lives. Well, being the nosey butt that I am, I went rummaging through my Friends over at Reverb Nation and hit upon a Song whose lyrics caught my heart and my attention.

The Song is called "Giving Back." And I thought to myself as I was listening to the Music, it's a Love Song for sure but for whom? This Song has a deeper message, so I sat with it to see what the Song meant for me. When a Song makes me cry, I gotta move on it.

After sitting with the Song I kept seeing God's greatest gift, the Earth and the whole dang Universe, then I knew.... I better rush right over to Reverb Nation and grab my Buddy Mike and ask him could I pleaseeeeeee use his Song in a Video. Besides, I need to really catch up with my Partner Jodie's skillset on "Story Board" work. Thank heaven that Mike said YES! So here is Michael Hartman and the Appendages Song "Giving Back."

You might have noticed in the Video, it is called "Giving Back" before it's too late, the "before it's too late" is a Sub Title, and one should always ask if you can add a Subtitle to your interpretation of an Artist work. Just another tip for those of you wanting to do this kind of work :0)

“Gifting To Oneself”

The general consensus suggests that the art of giving to ones self is, in essence, selfish behavior. The constraints of societal conditioning would have us believe that we would not only be selfish, but also greedy, thoughtless and self centered. So tell me… if one spends all their time giving to others in some, way shape or form, do they not, at some time, deserve something?

The necessity or need to please others, to give to others, to self sacrifice is endorsed. If this is endorsed for others, then why can we not endorse it for our own selves? Interesting is it not… give something to yourself, whether small or large, and start feeling guilty. Hey those well programmed thought patterns leap up and start blabbing about the need of others being so much higher then your own.

At this stage we begin believing others are more deserving, needier then ourselves. How have we allowed ourselves to be manipulated to such a degree that we have forgotten the importance of wholeness of our own being, to be holistically complete is quite interesting at best. If we are not complete within ourselves how can we effectively give, help and support others? How can we give something that we do not have to give?

In order to provide the necessary assistance to others we need to assist ourselves and learn to give to ourselves and accept this. It is imperative if we wish to give to others in any capacity. We need to break free of the illusion of selfishness, greediness thoughtlessness and selfcenteredness and do what we need to do to keep ourselves whole and functioning to the optimum ability possible.

So next time your inner self screams for a moments peace and needs to get away, do not permit that martyrdom mentality, that we have all been so well conditioned by... to overcome our own natural need for inner peace. In fact, view it from this perspective… a brief respite now will maintain and assist the wholeness I need to continue to give what I need to give to others. Giving to others means you also have the ability to give to yourself.

The Brand of Video Creation: Topic Music - Noise Flower

The most powerful way to get your work out successfully and Brand it properly is through Video. Why, because "Video Is Viral."Being a Videoographer has it's responsibilities, even if your creation is an "interpretation." Using others photos or Artwork for example, must contain somewhere their name, using someones Music must contain their name and or production home if required (especially an independent). Tools of the trade are actually quite easy to use, the Technology for creating Videos is kinda cool, but if you want to keep your Friends and or Clients happy, editing the Video to fit the Artist demands better be in place.

Professionalism and competition pretty much demands that one seeking a profession in this line of work, adhere to what the Client or creator of said Music or Video project needs. A consistency of materials is also needed. This consistency shows up in editing, too many Intros or End Tags for instance, can throw the viewer completely off. A standard, recognizable intro, or even End Tag consistently placed works wonders. A Lecture Video for instance would have a clear cut End Tag that can be placed at the beginning or end of a Video. 10 to 17secs of pure free advertising I say is cool! Something clearly that makes YOUR WORK noticeably YOURS.

When working with others on a project, it's good to get a list out. Use a "storyboard" to be your guide. So what's on this "storyboard?" Links, names of Artist and or Musicians, location of Artist Graphics or pictures should be in your Video's line up. This would be of GREAT help for who ever has to edit the darn thing LOL. This is called "frame work," where each "frame" has a specific location and whats on it and that's a great start for a "storyboard."

Music, and framing it up. Rather your going to interpret a feeling for a piece of Music, or going to develop a "storyboard" to actually follow the Lyrics of the Music... It's important to clearly know what your setting up frame by frame if need be. This will make the "transitions" go a lot easier also. A "transition" is that point where you see one frame go away and another replace it.

Hiring the right Video Company that's right for you. Well Branding through Video is hard enough without going towards the wrong Company. Say for instance if you want slick movable parts or static stills then your want to have a Company that specializes in either movable parts or static stills (Striking Concepts does both). One is for High Tech the other can be either in Video form or go straight to Print Media. I hadn't planned on sharing a tip or two today. So we can all blame Noise Flower, her song is so inspiring that I just went off today lol! Tangent over

The Mental Equivalent: Redefining Words

Lets get real here ok? Words have meaning and power, but their definition needs to be dealt with on a more feeling level and re-expressed at an Individual's level of feeling and or expression. Misunderstanding... can only happen in Art, Music, or the Entertainment Industry as a whole, when someone else's judgment pattern insist that "your just not quite doing that right or saying it right."Just because "Business" does it wrong dose not mean that those of us in Business seek to follow the trend of those before us who could care less about ethics, feeling, or the broader message. I'm gonna speak about what I believe in, as far as "flipping the switch."

We begin this process of "flipping the switch," when we can get over the need to be right, and the need to think that some else has to be wrong, in order for us to be right. The real issue really is that (in this Country at least) we tend to have an US vs THEM attitude. As long as that prevails no words will ever break through that wall. Art suffers, and real communication fails dismally. The attachment of hurt and pain is too real in the so called "meaning" of words, to have those kinds of walls to break down. Why? simply because the attachment to the words meaning doesn't go any deeper than the flesh wound.

In Business or any other medium of expression, words more than anything get in the way. Titles also get in the way as well. I want to show you a Video I did regarding how words, definitions, and even attitudes get in the way.

Here in this Video, you have Democrat Vs Republican. Most will say that it's the Entire Governments fault.... But who elected these morons? We did, so where is our responsibility? Do I like what their about or what they are doing.... noooo. But how does change, real change come about? All of our interactions, good, bad, or indifferent are expressed the only way we all know, right now. We can't express what we do not know, and that is as simple as I can make this process. We can only start from where we are at.... right now. We can only care from what we know.... right now.

If we honestly knew better, I sincerely believe we would do better. But I also, sincerely believe, we don't know any better, and we keep making the same mistake of letting our prior judgments and prior experiences rule over simple common sense, and what we actually know about each other, or our friends, or our real circumstances. And that my Dear, creates one more wound one more hurt, one more appearance of a lie, to where another wall appears.... leaving us with one more unattainable goal to reach. The idea, or concept of peace, is nice... a real "feel good." But will never be reached if all we see is outdated expressions, and no real concentrated effort to get to the heart of a words meaning or new definition's application as expressed by someone who cares, as opposed to someone who doesn't give a rats ass.

This is why the Arts are so very important, Art transcends "boundaries" that most industry limit, this prohibits ones original concept or application of the word or expression. The answer is simple, recreate the Industries meaning, by creating your own Field's Application. and Definition. Hopefully, we as Artist do not get caught up in the crossfire of emotion and stubbornness of not desiring a change of meaning for the path's expansion of meaning, definition, and most of all application. Business does not have to be an enemy, we make it so by reducing our control by not owning our own definitions, meanings, and heart of what we desire for change. Real change comes by real Vision on all levels of expression.

Our society today has many laws, these same laws originated from the Ten Commandments. The control exerted by religion demands abeyance of our laws by utilizing the fear factor, fear leads to compliance and therefore laws are upheld.The inevitable fear of God decrees compliance or otherwise you are damned to hell for eternity or perhaps God will judge you harshly and condemn you to forever walk the halls of purgatory. Oh sure there’s always jails and fines and community service, but there is not much fear associated with these so called punishments.

Our jails at furnished and modernized so thoroughly that they put our own homes to shame. Jails have become a virtual hotel. As for fines and community work, sure, eventually they hit the hip pocket, but considering how long these so called deterrents have been in place, why is there not a reduction in law breaking?

Well you could say the same thing regarding the fear factor utilized by religion, but the masses are controlled. Oh yes most of us fear "doing wrong", fear the prospect of accumulated sin which will impede our progress to the heavenly paradise religion promises. What else do we wish for other then to truly rest in peace when the inevitable does happen, we do not want to think that our beloved soul will rot in hell for eternity. Nor do we want to be harshly judged by God, a God that would condemn and punish.

Lets face it, we all want to know what happens when we die, we all want to know if there is a heaven, if there is a God. Ultimately, we want to believe in something, hence the attraction that religion offers. And there we go permitting ourselves to be brainwashed into believing the hell and brimstone saga.

Let us be distinct here, I do not condemn religion, in fact I am extremely accepting of all denominations and belief systems. However, one must also recognize how our society is controlled and coerced into doing what is wanted. Religion can provide hope and faith where none has previously existed, but it can often also become over zealous, over powering and extremely manipulating of our thought processes and therefore our actions.

Sounds cultist doesn't it? Well some religious sectors are, as with most things extremists exist. What each individual needs to consider is how their own heart feels, what your deepest belief is. For some it will not be named God, but a life energy or universal source and for others it will be nothing.

One more thing just because you believe in God, you don't have to go to church, you don't have to give a percentage of your income to God either. God does not you’re your money. Church is in most cases a superficial representation of God. You do not have to go to church to honor your beliefs, nor prove God loves you.

In a complex world what makes you stand out? What is keeping it Real truly about? What is Image? What is YOUR Reality? and... How do you reach out to touch another, through powerful visualizations, when your vision... is being seen through the lens of some one other than you...?

Music is a tool, that has a brand, it's a tool that expresses a "Brand," or viewpoint, or concept of the Composer. Many will argue that "Branding" isn't important, you don't need a "Brand." However, if there were no real distinctive Brands, their would be no real individualized expression in Music or the Arts. The Music would clearly suffer. A Brand signifies the professionalism of the Artist, and takes the Artist out of a "formula based" sounding all alike regime. The individual comes into the real expression of their work, instead of sounding like a drone's copy of another.

A perfect example of Non Formula work, that is striking to the ear, and to the heart, is Jordan Reyne's musical compositions.

Jordan Reyne is a New Zealand darkwave musician who combines dark electronica, folk noir, and industrial influences with ethereal vocal melodies. Jordan usually writes "concept" albums with stories told song by song. Her fifth Album (How the Dead Live) was commissioned by the New Zealand Arts Council and released in June 2009. Reyne has been nominated for numerous national awards in New Zealand and has received considerable critical acclaim internationally.

You have but to hear her work to see why distinctive work is Branded and branded well as unique, one of her Songs is on this Blog to the left under my work here. And is just another way to positively look at why professionals Brand themselves appropriately.

Branding in Music takes on many levels, in my last Blog we spoke of Techno and Stylized Vocals.... The Brand of Techno and Stylized Music

Music is formatted in many ways. One of the more concentrated ways of approaching Music today, is a combination of stylized and technical approaches. It's a Brand that uses a unique rhythm pattern of technical programs as well as stylized voice approaches. This unique Brand, allows the Artist the creative flow to go into two major fields. One is Film or Video which is my Sound Track Approach, and Two: a more dance effect for Live performances. Noise Flower takes the approach for Live Music, and is quite good at what she produces. Branding herself into a market that calls for a Live Audience, yet most of her work (go to her Site at Reverb Nation Link Provided under her Song at LEFT) could be used for a Sound Track for a Motion Picture or a TV opening. Because we all know here, that Branding is very important for the Business approach of selling or marketing what it is you have to offer... being new to this, isn't an excuse Love. You must try everyday at your craft (Acting, Directing, or Social Commentary) whatever your into, build on that everyday... this makes your Craft explode. Getting the job done through Video is FUN! Your area of expertise is your area of value to not only YOU but others who look for your services. If your in Sales, a Brand would help, if your an Author, Musician, Actor, or Teacher a Video can work wonders to who YOU wish to target in a Social Network or on the Internet itself. You can go long in your message, but I would suggest not over two minutes this will keep the audiences attention and help you build your list of Followers and or Customers depending on what is is you want out of the process.

If your in Business, then treat your list of what you want to achieve as a Business. If your in any other area of expertise, then again treat your list of what you want as an avenue of how you desire to approach your Target area of followers. It really still comes down to, having fun and loving ~ really Loving what you do rather Business or other avenues of Socializing or making money. But make up your mind, especially on the Internet. Do you want to be Social, or get across your point. It's ok to be Social, otherwise your a stick in the mud.... But if you want to make money, and work a Business, then make a list of what you want to accomplish and look at your BRAND.... is it "saying anything?" If not it's ok to ask those that do know how to brand through Video for help.
